Splunk>4Good is proud to be sponsoring Code for America’s 2012 Summit, October 1-3 in San Francisco.
Code for America a nonprofit organization that helps governments work better for everyone with the people and the power of the web. Through their Fellowship, Accelerator, and Brigade, they’re building a network of cities, citizens, community groups, and startups, all equally committed to reimagining government for the 21st century.
The Code for America Summit will bring together civic and thought leaders from cities around the United States. The event format is geared towards maximizing collaboration and continuing the ideas from the sessions into deeper conversations and turning them into action.
The entire agenda and speaker list is incredible, but I have to say that the open gov geek and Philly jawn in me is most excited for Philadelphia’s Mayor Nutter! The Ignite event is a CfA first and also sure to be fun. Day 3 also has an intriguing approach and will bring everyone back to CfA offices to work in teams.
Want to follow the action but not attending the event? I will be attending along with Splunkers Rachel Perkins and Clint Sharp. Follow @Splunk4Good for live tweets from the #cfsummit event.
